Warning! Spoilers for Dragon Ball Super's 107th episode lie below!
Dragon Ball Super returned with a brand-new episode last night after a hiatus, and it ended with a surprise. The episode followed Frost as the Universe 6 warrior took on Master Roshi, and it ended with the Dragon Ball Z hero getting ousted from the Tournament of Power.
However, Frost had nothing to do with Roshi's farewell.
Fans watched the older fighter give Frost plenty of trouble to the villain's dismay. Frost had expected Roshi to go down easily following his damaging battle with Universe 4, but the martial artist wasn't ready to roll over just yet. Roshi went so far as to unleash two Evil Containment Waves against Frost, and the man even released Vegeta from the attack after it was redirected to the Saiyan.
Vegeta breaks free of the Evil Containment Seal after Roshi destroys his vessel, prompting Frost to hightail it away. The Saiyan looks to Roshi who looks worse of wear upon the arena's floor. Vegeta tells the fighter this last fight was it for him and that he needs to disqualify himself from the Tournament if he wants to live. Roshi agrees reluctantly, throwing himself off the arena's edge in a 'suicide' move before he appears in the stands. Krillin quickly gives his mentor a Senzu bean to keep him alive, and Master Beerus acknowledges the elder for his impressive battles.
With Master Roshi eliminated, Universe 7 has one less member to fight in the Tournament. The team has seven members to its name, and it appears another will drift from Goku's side soon enough. The preview for Dragon Ball Super's next episode shows Freeza betraying his team as he comes to Frost's aid, and it will fall to Gohan to stop the deadly pair.
