Warning! Spoilers for Dragon Ball Super's 112th episode lie below!

Goku is still on the mend when it comes to Dragon Ball Super, so the series is about to pivot its focus to some other fan-favorite fighters. The anime's next episode will focus on both Vegeta and Cabba, but the latter won't know what hit him when Freeza decides to make his acquaintance.

Fans learned that Freeza would have something to do with Cabba when Animage published its new synopsis for episode 112. You can check out the summary of "A Saiyan's Pledge! Vegeta's Resolve!!" below:

"The Tournament of Power is nearing its end. Though Cabba is fighting for the sake of Universe 6, he is having a tough battle against the super highspeed tackles of Universe 4's Monna. Just as he thinks he's done for, amazingly enough Vegeta saves him. Though Vegeta rouses Cabba by telling him to "fight to be MVP", Freeza is not amused…"

Cabba might think he had enough to deal with when Monna went up against him, but the Universe 4 warrior can't compare to Freeza. The synopsis says the villain is miffed by Vegeta's call to Cabba and the anime's latest episode preview confirmed Freeza won't treat the younger Saiyan well.

As you can see in the clip above, the episode preview for 112 ends with Cabba in a tough spot. Freeza is shown in a close-up holding Cabba up by his face. The frosty villain looks plenty intimidating thanks to his narrowed eyes, and the next scene then shows Cabba screaming in what appears to be pain.

There is good reason for Cabba to fear Freeza, so fans should expect the pair's first meeting to go less-than-smoothly. The villain is known for bringing Universe 6's Saiyan race to its knees, and Cabba has shown he is fiercely protective of his home. If Freeza brings up his utter annihilation of the Saiyans or perhaps threatens Planet Sadala before Cabba, then the two will set themselves up for one very intense fight.

Dragon Ball Super's "Universal Survival" saga is part of the recent simulcast agreement that sites like Crunchyroll and Funimation have scored. Dragon Ball Super airs on Crunchyroll Saturdays at 7:15 p.m. CST. Toonami airs the English dub on Adult Swim Saturdays at 11:30 p.m.
