'Attack On Titan's Season 3 Poster Teases Some Major Spoilers
Attack on Titan may have kept fans waiting for its second season, but the franchise has no plans [...]
The Cavern
The poster has lots of detailing, but fans will have a hard time overlooking its background. The image is set in a large cavern that appears to be filled with reflective crystals. The strange location has yet to be introduced to anime fans, but manga readers should recognize it easily as the Reiss family chapel. The sacred location is where Eren is brought by the king Rod Reiss and his daughter Historia. The cavern is where the Reiss family have passed on its Titan powers through its succession rituals.

Yet again, Eren has found himself kidnapped, but this time Marley has nothing to do with his captivity. The poster sees the hero restrained on top of a crystal pillar with both of his arms immobilized. The scene will be a familiar one as fans know Eren has been taken by the King of Paradis himself. Rod Reiss needs Eren because the soldier has the Coordinate within him. To get the weapon back, Rod plans to have Historia become a Titan Shifter and eat Eren to absorb his gift, but things do not go quite like the King planned.

If there's one thing Attack on Titan's poster highlights, it is a part of legs. The image is framed by a pair of uniformed legs with gun holsters on each side. The weaponry is very different from any Vertical Maneuver Gear fans have seen before, and it's because no character like Kenny Ackerman has been introduced before. The man used to be a notorious serial killer before he became part of the Military Police Brigade and the Anti-Personnel Control Squad. Over the years, Kenny worked for the crown before plotting to steal the royalty's power. The character has a major role in the 'Uprising' arc as he brings Rod Reiss' corrupt nature to light, and there is also the small fact that Kenny is Levi's uncle.
