Entertainment Weekly Superman 75th Anniversary Cover

With the Man Of Steel arriving in theaters this weekend, Entertainment Weekly has just revealed that this week's cover will celebrate Superman's 75th anniversary. Of course, the new movie will be heavily featured inside, but there's also a lot of other Superman coverage, which will make this issue a must for Superman collectors. Superman made his first appearance in comic books way back in 1938's Action Comics #1. An issue which regularly commands hundreds of thousands or even millions of dollars depending on condition in today's market. According to EW, they will dive into Superman's origin story and examine how Superman's mythology has evolved over the years. Superman Returns director Bryan Singer will even weigh in on his attempt at rebooting the character, along with why he thinks not everyone responded. Man of Steel producer Christopher Nolan will discuss the science fiction approach that the current Man Of Steel movie takes. And of course, Man Of Steel star Henry Cavill will weigh in on what fueled his Superman performance.
