Man Of Steel Projected To Finish In $650-$700 Million Range At Worldwide Box Office

This weekend, Man Of Steel crossed the half billion mark at the worldwide box office, becoming only the 109th film in history to accomplish such a feat. Before the Man Of Steel was released, former Warner Bros. motion pictures group president Jeff Robinov predicted that Man Of Steel would be Warner Bros. highest grossing movie ever at the box office. While it doesn't look like Man Of Steel will top the $1.341 billion that Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Part 2 did at the box office, box office experts are now projecting the Man Of Steel will finish in the $650 million to $700 million range. This would put the Man Of Steel well above Superman Returns, which finished with $391 million at the worldwide box office. It would also put the Man Of Steel in the number 55 to number 65 range on the all time worldwide box office list and in the number 2 or number 3 position for 2013. Fast & Furious 6 currently sits in second place at $682 million worldwide, and Iron Man 3 is pretty much uncatchable in first place at $1.2 billion.
