In Transformers: Age of Extinction, set four years after Dark of the Moon, a mechanic and his daughter make a discovery that brings down Autobots and Decepticons - and a paranoid government official - on them. Based on Hasbro's classic toy line that debuted in 1984 and the various cartoons and comics that followed, Transformers: Age of Extinction is produced by Tom DeSanto, Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Ian Bryce, directed by Michael Bay, from a screenplay by Ethan Kruger, and stars Mark Wahlberg, Nicola Peltz, Jack Reynor, Kelsey Grammer, Sophia Myles and Stanley Tucci. Transformers: Age of Extinction is presented by Paramount Pictures. Executive producers are Stephen Davis, Brian Goldner, Bennett Schneir, Steven Spielberg and Mark Vahradian. Transformers: Age of Extinction is scheduled to be released in movie theaters on June 27, 2014.
