Amazing Spider-Man 2

The Alberta Film Ratings Board has classified a third trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man 2. The trailer has been given a G rating and has a run time of two minute and twenty-three seconds. The G rating is for the trailer only, and almost certainly will not be the rating of the movie since the original received a PG-13. A trailer usually shows up in theaters about a week or two after it's classified, but we still don't know exactly when and where the trailer will show up. Sony is pushing the film hard, having only just released a trailer during the Super Bowl and then following it up with an extended "Enemies Unite" preview. Sony might release it in conjunction with a TV ad during the Sochi Olympics, or possibly during the Oscars telecast, which will air on ABC on March 2, 2014. In The Amazing Spider-Man 2, it's great to be Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield). For Peter Parker, there's no feeling quite like swinging between skyscrapers, embracing being the hero, and spending time with Gwen (Emma Stone). But being Spider-Man comes at a price: only Spider-Man can protect his fellow New Yorkers from the formidable villains that threaten the city. With the emergence of Electro (Jamie Foxx), Peter must confront a foe far more powerful than he. And as his old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, Peter comes to realize that all of his enemies have one thing in common: OsCorp. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is scheduled for theatrical release May 2, 2014.
