Arrow Season 2 Episode 15: The Promise

The CW has released a trailer, a clip, a producer's preview, and an extended trailer for tonight's episode of Arrow, which is called "The Promise." We've pulled all four together in one place as a sneak peek at the episode. In the trailer preview, Slade Wilson reveals that he plans to fulfill a promise to Oliver Queen. The clip shows Roy doing target practice, when the Arrow team receives an unexpected call. On the line, Thea's voice can be heard, and she's talking with Slade Wilson. In the producer's preview, Executive Producer Marc Guggenheim promises this episode "makes the season finale we did last year look like a student film." In the extended trailer, Slade Wilson talks about what he's going to do to Oliver Queen. In the "The Promise" episode of Arrow, Oliver (Stephen Amell) is shocked when he learns that Slade (Manu Bennett) has come to Starling City. Back on The Island, as Oliver, Slade and Sara (Caity Lotz) prepare to take over The Freighter from Ivo (Guest Star Dylan Neal), Sara pulls Oliver aside and tells him he needs to kill Ivo to prevent him from telling Slade what happened with Shado. Oliver feels immense guilt over the situation but realizes Slade's growing rage from The Mirakuru makes him unpredictable and he could turn on his friends if he thinks Oliver is to blame. Oliver agrees to kill Ivo and the battle begins. The "The Promise" episode of Arrow is directed by Glen Winter and written by Jake Coburn & Ben Sokolowski. "The Promise" is scheduled to air on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at 8 PM ET on The CW.
