Arrow-Birds-of-Prey-Sisters-1

It is not a spoiler to mention that Birds of Prey features the return of The Huntress, after a year's absence. Or to remind you that where she goes, danger follows. Jessica De Gouw slips back into the role of Helena smoothly and easily. Huntress isn't the only woman to watch out for in this episode though. Both of the Lance sisters take center stage in this action packed story. It is hard to say who stands out more, Katie Cassidy's Laurel or Caity Lotz's Sara. Both are on very different journeys with identical goals. To be better than they were before. None of this means that the men are ignored however, Roy's story continues to move forward in this episode. We see two very different fathers in Quinton Lance and Frank Bertinelli. And you don't expect the arrival of his ex-girlfriend to be ignored by Ollie, now do you? One other thing to watch out for in this episode is what is arguably one of Arrow's funniest moments ever. Keep an eye out for it. But as we all know, laughter in Starling City doesn't often last that long. WHEN THE HUNTRESS MET THE CANARY — When Frank Bertinelli (guest star Jeffrey Nordling) is arrested, Oliver (Stephen Amell) knows it's only a matter of time before his daughter, Helena, AKA The Huntress (guest star Jessica De Gouw), returns to town. To make matters worse, Laurel (Katie Cassidy) is picked to try Frank's case, putting her right in the path of Helena. Oliver tells Sara (Caity Lotz) he will handle his ex-girlfriend, but when Helena takes hostages at the courthouse, including Laurel, the Canary will stop at nothing to save her sister. When The Huntress and Canary meet, an epic battle begins. Meanwhile, Roy (Colton Haynes) realizes he needs to keep Thea (Willa Holland) safe, but doesn't like the way he is forced to go about it. John Behring directed the episode written by Mark Bemesderfer & A.C. Bradley.
