The Walking Dead Season 5 To Include More Characters From The Comics

Season 4 has included the introduction of several new characters from the comic books, including Abraham, Rosita, and Eugene. In a Twitter Q&A right before The Walking Dead Season 4 Finale, Walking Dead showrunner Scott Gimple briefly addressed what fans could expect in Season 5. When asked what characters from the comics would be included in Season 5, Gimple replied, "I wouldn't spoil which ones specifically, but more are comin'!" When specifically asked in Negan would be a part of Season 5 Gimple answered, "Negan will be in the show… But we won't say when…" Negan was introduced in the comics in The Walking Dead #100. Negan is the leader of The Saviors and currently the primary antagonist in the comic series. He is known for carrying around a baseball bat wrapped in barbwire that he calls Lucille. Negan is exceptionally brutal, and he is known for using language that would be difficult to air on even  cable television.
