Godzilla: The Animated Series Comes to DVD, 8 New Gamera Movies on Blu-Ray

Ahead of the release of Godzilla in theaters this May, monster movie fans can watch eight Gamera movies across two collections in high definition for the first time on April 29, 2014. Also available, for the first time in one collection, are 11 Gamera movies on DVD in the Gamera Legacy Collection, while distributor Mill Creek Entertainment will also release Godzilla: The Animated Series, containing all 40 episodes together for the first time including two previously unaired episodes. Each of the releases will hit with a cost of $19.98 MSRP for the Blu-rays and $14.98 MSRP for the DVDs. Gamera Volume 1 on Blu-Ray includes Gamera: The Giant Monster, Gamera vs Barugon , Gamera vs Gyaos and Gamera vs Viras; Volume 2 includes Gamera vs. Guiron, Gamera vs. Jiger, Gamera vs. Zigra and Gamera: Super Monster. The Gamera Legacy Collection is Gamera: The Giant Monster, Gamera vs Barugon , Gamera vs Gyaos, Gamera vs Viras, Gamera vs. Guiron, Gamera vs. Jiger, Gamera vs. Zigra, Gamera: Super Monster, Gamera:  Guardian of the Universe (1995), Gamera 2:  Attack of Legion (1996) and Gamera 3:  Revenge of Iris (1999).
