Guardians of the Galaxy Go LEGO In Forrest Fire Trailer

Marvel superheroes may not be on their way to The LEGO Movie 2 on account of Warner Bros. distributing that franchise and owning DC Comics, but that doesn't mean fans can't recast existing Marvel properties in LEGO.

That's what YouTube star Forrest Whaley has done with one of the Guardians of the Galaxy TV spots, which you can see embedded (and LEGOfied) below:

It's even (at least semi-)officially-sanctioned; it was Marvel Studios who sent the link along to ComicBook.com!

The Forrest Fire YouTube channel has nearly a half-million subscribers and features dozens of slickly-produced LEGO tributes to pop culture, including DC and Marvel Comics, Star Wars, Indiana Jones and more.

Guardians of the Galaxy was directed by James Gunn and stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel, Dave Bautista, Glenn Close, Lee Pace, Benicio del Toro, Josh Brolin, Michael Rooker and more. It's due in theaters Friday.
