There isn't a shortage of fantastic Harley Quinn cosplay out in the world, but rarely do they feature as close a likeness to a specific portrayal than this one does.
This Suicide Squad Harley Quinn cosplay was made by Laura, a 21-year-old from Syndey (via Buzzfeed). The costume is dead on to the Margot Robbie film version, but that isn't the only reason why Laura stands out. She stands out because she also happens to be a dead ringer for Robbie herself, and once she puts on the costume no one would blame you for not noticing the difference.
Laura has been a fan of the character since high school, but it wasn't until David Ayer's Suicide Squad that she felt called back to the character. That's when she decided to start heading to conventions as Harley, and she's received an overwhelmingly positive response.
"I am just so thrilled I can bring smiles by dressing up and having fun," she told Buzzfeed."I don't think I ever want to stop cosplaying Harley… I am also looking at doing my own take on Harley somewhere in the future."
Laura bears a resemblance to Robbie even sans costume and makeup, which she says has been mentioned by "a few friends here and there". Hopefully, we'll get to see her original take on Harley in the near future, but in the meantime, you can find more of her cosplay on her Instagram page.
