If you've ever sat at home watching Jeopardy! during daytime television and became frustrated with obviously incorrect answers coming from the game show's contestants, you might have found yourself thinking how easy the show would've been if you were the one up on the stage answering host Alex Trebek's questions. Now, instead of just talking about it, you can prove how well you'd do on the show by playing the recently released mobile game Jeopardy! World Tour.

Developed by Uken Games in a partnership with Sony Pictures Television Networks Games, the new mobile game is based off the popular quiz show. Within the game, players can expect much of the same gameplay that takes place during the TV show. Correctly answering trivia questions by returning the answer in the form of a question is the key to winning here, and answering consecutive questions puts players ahead of their global opponents and friends.

Trebek, the host of the game show since 1984, welcomed the expansion of the show's influence to the mobile arena.

"Jeopardy! fans are always looking for more ways to play our game," said Trebek. "I know they will be very happy with this new mobile game that connects them with other Jeopardy! fans everywhere."

This isn't the first time that Jeopardy! has been showcased in mobile games before, though; an official Jeapardy! game was released several years ago, but this newest game appears to be a replacement. Sony Pictures Television Networks Games also has experience with mobile games in the past and is now able to add this game to their list.

"Jeopardy! World Tour stands on the shoulders of a show that's been successful for 33 years," said Geremie Camara, Vice President, Sony Pictures Television Networks Games. "We unpacked the essence of a timeless franchise and created a familiar surprise that will engage 'Jeopardy!' fans and mobile gamers alike."

To change up the scenery of a couch and a TV, Jeopardy! World Tour allows players to unlock new venues to compete in as they level up in-game. Players can compete with other players and friends from around the world while exploring themed content in unlocked cities such as Paris, Rome, Beijing, London, Los Angeles, and more.

Jeopardy! World Tour is currently available for iOS and Android devices in the App Store and on Google Play.
