Sony isn't afraid of going after big third-party companies in the hopes of getting exclusive content for its games on PlayStation 4. Ask anyone that's downloaded Call of Duty over the past couple of years, or enjoyed the exclusive goodies in the first Destiny (as well as what's coming in Destiny 2), and you'll see the proof of that.

However, it appears that the PlayStation manufacturer is going after Capcom as well, as Amazon.com has accidentally revealed some exclusive content that will be coming to the PlayStation 4 version of Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite.

Special cover art for the PS4 verison of the game has been revealed, which you can see below. Along with focusing on the mighty Sigma Ultron, as well as the game's logo, you can see in the corner that a neat little PlayStation exclusive is offered – a Major Carol Danvers costume for Captain Marvel. Though it's hard to see in the picture, it consists of jeans, sunglasses and a bomber jacket, in place of the usual super-costume we saw in the Story Demo that was released last week.

This makes sense, since the Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite presentation last week, which revealed a handful of new characters like Bionic Commando's Nathan Spencer, Rocket Raccoon and Ghouls 'n Ghosts' Sir Arthur, debuted during the PlayStation press conference prior to E3. So perhaps the two are in cahoots, offering not only this exclusive skin, but also possible other content that could be coming to the game soon.

On top of that, it appears that the Story Demo that was announced during the demo was exclusive to the PlayStation 3 for a week. It debuted late Monday night last week, whereas the Xbox One edition just arrived today, for those that are compelled to check it out.

Neither Sony nor Capcom have announced any additional downloadable content for the game just yet, but we should learn more closer to the game's release. Plus, with EVO 2017 around the corner, we could get more information about Infinite there as well.

Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite will release on September 19th for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
