Were you unable to score a SNES Classic Edition yesterday? You're not the only one. The majority of gamers looking to score a system were faced with waves of rolling website failures, bots, and scalpers rushing to scoop up every last console. GameStop took in-store pre-orders, which was the saving grace for many of you, but for those of you who spent the day at school or work, it was just another disappointment. But fear not, GameStop is going to have one more opportunity for you to snag a console:

"If you weren't able to snag an SNES Classic today -- don't sweat it. We'll have more available on launch day, in store, for walk-ins." That's right, folks: we're going old-school. This is going to be your classic camp-out situation with huge lines, sleeping bags, numbered tickets, and ultimately, disappointment.

If you're truly determined, you'll need to scout out the least-popular GameStop around you, the one you think won't be swarmed with hungry Nintendo nerds, and make a point to get there as early as possible. Go there today. Make friends with the manager. It can't hurt, right? These are desperate times.

The Super NES Classic Edition pre-order fiasco was -- well, it was a fiasco. Yesterday people spent their entire afternoon's smashing their F5 keys across multiple tabs in hopes of snagging a system, but whenever they went up for pre-order, they sold out within seconds. It was infuriating. This poster from NeoGAF literally broke his F5 key from refreshing so furiously:

It was a disaster, y'all. You should have been there. People were cursing Nintendo, cursing Walmart, cursing Target, and cursing ThinkGeek for putting these consoles in expensive bundles with tons of other swag, which they of course purchased.

You can avoid all of that by being Johnny on the spot on launch day. I suggest you do that.
