A new hotfix has been rolled out for Destiny 2 that should help alleviate some of the frustrations that PlayStation 4 owners have felt since the game's release.

The hotfix that was announced by Bungie on Wednesday only had one item on the agenda, but for those playing the PS4 version of the game, the news of the fix couldn't be better. In an update that was posted by Bungie to their site, the latest hotfix should finally take care of that game-breaking issue that players encountered when trying to interact with the Tower.

"Fixed an issue that was causing crashes while loading into the Tower," the sole change on Hotfix 1.0.3.2 read that's live as of Oct. 11.

For those who don't frequent the game's site to get their news from Bungie, another much more accessible announcement was posted through the Bungie Help Twitter account. The post got straight to the point and PS4 owners know that it's finally safe to try and load into the Tower without having to worry about whether you'd be met with an error screen followed by an angry restart of your game.

The response from players who have obviously felt their fair share of frustration was evident. Destiny 2's Tower glitch has been annoying to say the least, and plenty of responses like the one below show that players are thrilled at the prospect of playing their game uninterrupted.

Of course, there were others who were quick to gloss over the glitch and ask about other issues that the game faces. Not everyone's playing on the PS4 version, so for them, the fix was insignificant news. PvP problems, issues when playing with friends, and complaints about overpowered weapons were just a few of the comments that were made in reply to the hotfix announcement from Bungie. Those problems might be resolved at a later date in upcoming patches and hotfixes, but for now, today's all about the PS4 players.
