Dragon Ball FighterZ’s fighting roster seems to be growing at a rapid pace, with fighters practically getting added each week before the game’s launch early next year. But it’s not done yet. Along with the DLC fighters that will be coming to FighterZ, it appears that a pair of new brawlers are set to be revealed – and we won’t have to wait too long to see who they are.
The latest episode of IGN’s Next Big Game took a good look at the forthcoming Star Wars: Battlefront II, but the more fascinating aspect for anime fans came at the end of the episode, when host Max Scoville noted that the following episode, which will debut tomorrow, will feature Dragon Ball FighterZ and the debut of “not one, but two new characters.”
A time frame hasn’t given as to when the episode will premiere, but it will likely be mid-afternoon – and by that point, we’ll see who will be joining the party.
This is leading to a lot of speculation by fans, wondering who will show up next in the world of FighterZ. We’ve already got a who’s who of superstars that will be brawling their way through the game, although there’s always room for more, with the various Dragon Ball universes that are making the rounds. Who knows, we might just have a surprise out of left field to throw us off our game.
Whoever it ends up being, we’ll fill you in and, hopefully, bring you some footage from the forthcoming game, so you can see what they look like in action. We’ll be on the lookout to see who’s announced.
