Fans of both Assassin's Creed: Origins and Final Fantasy XV aren't new to the idea of collaboration between the two radically different titles. Back in August, an event in FFXV called Assassin's Festival gave players the chance to dress up Noctis and the gang as classic assassins, and included mini-games as well as new abilities that mirrored Assassin's Creed moves. For all of the hype from Square Enix, Ubisoft has yet to return the in-game love. But with an incoming DLC update, that may change in an interesting way.

YouTuber SPGamer discovered a new location on the Origins map that contained a large puzzle to solve which would presumably lead into an unfinished tomb The new area contains munitions around the outside for the player to solve the puzzle with, but the entrance to the tomb isn't quite finished yet. With a few cheats, SPGamer was able to peek into the temple, discovering that illustrations of Ardyn and Noctis can be found on both the inside and outside of the tomb. SPGamer finishes the video by guessing that this tomb might contain Noctis' sword.

Today's new monthly update on the Ubisoft blog indicates that something interesting is coming later this month in the form of a new quest. While two quests are mentioned, players currently only have information on one, titled Here Comes A New Challenger, which will introduce horde mode. Below it, a "new surprise quest" is mentioned without any further details.

Most of the new Origins updates, which include the new quests, the introduction of Nightmare Mode, and the addition of a highly-demanded enemy scaling option (among other things) are set to roll out between December 12th and 26th.
