Fantastic Four and Creed star Michael B. Jordan has joined the cast of Marvel's Black Panther.

The film will have Jordan reteaming with Creed and Fruitvale Station director Ryan Coogler for a third time.

Jordan joins star Chadwick Boseman, who plays the titular Black Panther, also known as King T'Challa of Wakanda. Boseman made his debut as T'Challa in Captain America: Civil War.

According to reports, Lupita Nyong'o is also in negotiations to join the film's cast.

Jordan's role remains unknown, but rumor has it he could be playing a villain. Marvel had no comment on the report.

Jordan is the second actor to play the Human Torch for Fox to later be recruited by Marvel for a different role, following Marvel's Captain America, Chris Evans.
