Whether he’s taking on nemeses like Sabertooth and Lady Deathstrike or a group of armed soldiers from the Weapon X project, Logan always proves he’s the best there is at what he does with a few fatal swings from his claws.
Those swipes are also functional beyond causing mass amounts of death, as he can easily climb walls and unlock doors with some precise adamantium-supported stabs.
And over the course of that near-20 year history, there’ve almost been too many slashes to count. Almost.
YouTube users the Geek Twins recently compiled a massive supercut containing all of Logan’s slashes over the course of his filmography, including each of the solo films and all five X-Men movies he appeared in (remember, he only proffered a verbal slash in X-Men: First Class).
The result is over six minutes of slashy goodness, and we’re not talking about the fan-fictional romance kind.
If you ever thought a movie consisting of nothing but Wolverine cutting fools up on his way to save the world could possibly be boring, this video will change your mind. Aside from the action it has tension, romance, and even comedic relief! All while showcasing the true star of the X-Men franchise: Logan’s claws.
Logan is in theaters now, still cutting his way through the box office.
