2018 is finally here and while many in the world of entertainment are sharing their New Year's greetings, Avengers Robert Downey Jr. isn't just sending his good wishes, but reminding people that there's something specific to look forward to.

Downey is known for his often-humorous social media postings -- including his recent sharing of a fan-made Avengers Christmas greeting he found on Tumblr -- and this New Year's post reminding fans of the upcoming third installment of the Avengers films is no exception. Fans already have the Marvel Cinematic Universe film's release date on their calendars as the Avengers: Infinity War is the most-anticipated upcoming comic book movie and while the post doesn't do anything more than taunt fans that May is so close and yet still so far away. Downey recently teased fans as to what they can expect from the upcoming film.
In a recent interview with USA Today, the Iron Man actor revealed that the film will involve another confrontation between Tony Stark/Iron man and Chris Evans' Steve Rogers/Captain America. The last time audiences saw the pair, they had a pretty significant disagreement leading the pair to break up the Avengers. The threat of Thanos will see the heroes come back together, but that doesn't mean the pair are in a better place.
“That’s the hardest for me, because I look at Evans and I just to want to go over and smell him or tell him he looks cool in those sunglasses when he’s walking over to have lunch." Downey explained. "And then I’m just staring daggers at him, getting mad."
