While we're not anticipating anything revolutionary from Underworld: Blood Wars, it will have Kate Beckinsale back in black leather and kicking ass. That always gets our blood flowing.

The first one was such a dark horse breakout hit, that we can't wait to see what kind of crazy action experience Keanu Reeves and Co. deliver with the sequel.

The LEGO Movie was everything that is awesome, and Will Arnett's Batman was one of the most awesome things about it. Taking LEGO Movie and mashing it together with a Batman movie should only yield more awesome results.

Wolverine 3 has gained a big early buzz thanks to trailers and teasers that set it way apart from other films in the X-Men movie franchise. As Hugh Jackman's final solo movie appearance as Wolverine, and the introduction of fan-fave X-23, this one is a milestone.

No one was begging for a King Kong reboot, but man! That first trailer sold us on a classic movie monster thriller/adventure.
If Skull Island delivers, we're totally onboard for that King Kong vs. Godzilla movie that's coming.

Disney has killed it with fantastic live-action reboots of its popular animated films of the past. Emma Watson, Dan Stevens and an all-star supporting cast are poised to bring that Beauty and the Beast magic to a whole new generation.

Pirates of the Caribbean delivers those fun summer blockbuster adventures.
This fifth chapter will bring back some originals (Geoffrey Rush, Orlando Bloom, Kiera Knightley), giving it a definite boost.
prevnextWonder Woman (June 2nd)
This is a big pivotal release for DC Films, as the studio tries to at once:
- Launch the first big female supehero movie franchise in these DC/Marvel cinematic universes.
- Turn around the negative stereotypes of DCEU movies being dark and somber bores.
So far, things have looked good, so here's hoping Wonder Woman gets her just due after a 75-year wait to get on the big screen.

Yep, it's another Michael Bay Transformers movie.The first trailer was admittedly pretty cool - but that doesn't mean the actual movie will be any better than Transformers: Age of Extinction.
Basically, you know what you're getting at this point.

Tom Holland's Spider-Man was a breakout hit of Captain America: Civil War, and his first solo film within the Marvel Cinematic Universe looks just as awesome!
prevnextWar for the Planet of the Apes (July 14th)
The Planet of the Apes franchise has been one of the more impressive (and surprising) reboots of the deacde. After the acclaim of Rise was topped by the acclaim of Dawn, War has the higest expectations yet to clear.
With Ceaser actor Andy Serkis and Dawn director Matt Reeves back (plus Woody Harrelson joining!) we expect great things.

An epic wartime/psychological thriller with the name "Christopher Nolan" stamped on top.
...Uh yeah, we'll definitely be there to see this.

We saw some of Luc Besson's adaptation of this famous French comic book series while at New York Comic-Con. It may be Besson's best film since The Fifth Element, and could be a big welcome surprise for summer moviegoers looking for something truly original.

Kingsman: The Secret Service was a refreshing departure from Bourne/Bond spy movies of our day - and word is The Golden Circle will be crazier, more violent, and funnier than the first one.
Count us in!
prevnextBlade Runner 2049 (Oct. 6th)
Director Denis Villeneuve has made nothing but cerebral and cinematic genre thrillers so far (Prisoners, Sicario, Arrival) and after that first trailer, it looks like his impressive skills will be right at home in the Blade Runner franchise.
Plus: Harrison Ford and Ryan Gosling!
prevnextThor: Ragnarok (Nov. 3rd)
Thor hasn't been the strongest Marvel Cinematic Universe movie franchise so far, but Thor 3 will have Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston joined by Mark Ruffalo's Hulk, to take on Cate Blanchett's Hela and Karl Urban's Skurge.
If you can't tell, we're psyched for a much-improved Thor movie experience.

This is it. The 'make or break' moment for the DC Extendd Universe.
If Justice League flops, then sure, Ben Affleck's Batman may still have a cinematic future; Wonder Woman will already be out and Aquaman is in production. But beyond those projects, the future of DC films rests on Justice League.
