Almost as iconic as the phrase "May the Force be with you" to Star Wars fans is the line, "I have a very bad feeling about this." Despite the line being delivered by variety of characters in each live-action film, with some different incarnations that switch up a word here and there, actor Mark Hamill will still find himself forgetting his exact delivery, with fans happy to correct him. The actor explained those types of encounters in a new interview with GQ.
"There was a line I said in the first one, that now has been in all of them," Hamill confessed. "I don't know about Rogue One, I've only seen that once. 'I have a very bad feeling about this.' Or, 'I Have a bad feeling about this.' That's another thing, people have seen these things more than I have, so they correct me."
He added, "I'll say, 'The medical droid," and they go, 'IG-88!' A lot of these things weren't named until they became toys. We called them, when we were shooting them, 'the medical droid,' but when they made it into a toy, they had to have some designation to copyright."
What makes Hamill's reveals about not always remembering his lines precisely that much funnier is that he even misquotes fans who correct him about IG-88. As we all know, the medical droid that Hamill was most likely referring to was actually a 2-1B surgical droid.
IG-88 was a line of assassin droids that first debuted in The Empire Strikes Back alongside bounty hunters like Bossk, Dengar and, most notably, Boba Fett.
Were Luke to have been seeking medical assistance from IG-88, the saga certainly would have been cut short.
