Diablo 4 1.0.3 Build Patch Notes Released

06/27/2023 03:35 pm EDT

Since its launch, Diablo 4 has received several patches and hotfixes to improve the action RPG in several different ways. This includes things like fixing things like the bugged loot that Druids were being given and taking away a farming exploit people were using. However, the 1.0.3 Build might be the most comprehensive one we've seen yet. It addresses just about every area imaginable in Diablo 4. From class balance to gameplay to even some significant changes to UI, just about every aspect has been altered by Blizzard.

Obviously, with an update as big as this one, it can be tough to pinpoint exactly what the most important change is. That said, many players are going to be happy with the updates Blizzard has made to Nightmare Dungeons. Not only has Blizzard increased the experience you'll rack up when fighting through one but it also implemented a way to teleport to the dungeons. On top of that, players will notice most classes now have a buff on their basic skills, which should make them feel even more impactful. It's also worth noting that, while it's not included in this update, Blizzard does directly address that it is working to increase monster and elite density with end-game content, and that should be ready in time for Season 1.

You can see the full patch notes for Diablo 4 Build 1.0.3 below.

Developer's Note: We are currently working on increasing the monster and elite density of end-game content and plan to introduce this change early in Season 1.

Balance Changes

Developer's Note: We're continuing our efforts to make all Class builds feel fun and powerful with another round of balance updates. In particular, we have seen community feedback stating that Basic Skills aren't impactful enough in combat. These changes will not change the fundamental relationship between Basic Skills and Core Skills, but we hope that they help smooth out the leveling experience while we explore additional ways to strengthen them. We are also increasing the power of some Skills that players feel are lagging behind their peers. As we look forward to future updates, we're monitoring other heavily discussed topics, such as Minion survivability and build parity. Please keep sending us your feedback, and we'll see you in Sanctuary!
