'The Gifted': The Mutant Underground Trailer Released

Fox has released a new teaser for The Gifted showing the coming conflict between the Mutant Underground and Sentinel Services.

The Mutant Underground has become good at hiding, but the capture of Reed Strucker means they may finally be forced to fight for their survival.

Meanwhile, all Caitlin Strucker wants to get her husband back, but her children, Lauren and Andy, don't want to risk losing their mother as well.

The second episode of The Gifted, titled "rX," aired last night. The episode saw Caitlin joining Eclipse on a mission to retrieve medicine to help Blink, who had exhausted herself using her teleportation powers to allow the underground to escape capture by Sentinel Services.

Polaris was not so lucky. She had previously been arrested and sent to prison. Unfortunately for Polaris, prison inmates love mutants about as much as those on the outside do, and so she was harassed, beaten, and placed in solitary confinement. Polaris also took a shower, which revealed her true hair color.

Reed was interrogated by agent Jace Turner of Sentinel Services. In the midst of that conversation, Turner dropped the name of another major X-Men villain group before he and Reed finally came to an agreement.

The Gifted airs Mondays at 9 p.m. ET on Fox.
