There are a few names synonymous with Daredevil, and most of those names have made an appearance on his acclaimed Netflix series, save one in particular.
While the Kingpin, Stick, Elektra, Karen Page, and Foggy Nelson have all been heavily featured, arguably his greatest enemy hasn't, that being the deadly assassin Bullseye. Bullseye is responsible for a great deal of loss in Murdock's life, but Daredevil actor Charlie Cox is still hoping he'll show up soon, as he described to ScreenGeek.
"It's no secret, I've said it before and I get in trouble every time I say it, I'd like to see Bullseye make an appearance at some point. I think it's a really interesting opportunity. Deborah Ann Woll obviously does not want Bullseye to show up for obvious reasons. Elodie Yung, who plays Elektra, doesn't want Bullseye to show up either."
At some point before the series ends, Bullseye needs to make an appearance. As Cox referred to, however, that could mean bad things for Deborah Ann Woll's Karen Page and Elodie Yung's Elektra. At various points in Daredevil comic history, both were killed at the hands of Bullseye, but of course, that doesn't mean the show can't veer from the source material.
Still, it would be a rather safe bet that one of them could die at his hands, and it would give the studio a chance to make up for that disappointing final fight between Ben Affleck and Colin Farrel in the original Daredevil film.
That said, Elden Henson's pick for Bullseye doesn't exactly inspire confidence. "I actually heard they're going to cast Zach Galifianakis as Bullseye." Let's hope they go a different direction.
A third season of the hit Netflix show is currently planned but has yet to be scheduled.Luke Cage just released in September, and will be followed by Iron Fist, and then the Defenders. Somewhere in that mix is also a Punisher series and the second season of Jessica Jones, but those have yet to be dated.
