Captain America: Civil War is getting some fantastic buzz, so it stands to reason that many of actor Chris Evan's family and friends would love to see it.
For previous films in the franchise, he's taken his immediate family to the premier. This time around he wanted to change it up a bit, so he invited some friends from the Patriots to come along, which he discussed on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
"For this one I kind of said you know I'm going to bring it back a little bit to home base,, and so I invited a few people who over the years have kinda done things for me, and so I'm inviting a few patriots players. I don't know if we have a few patriots fans in the house."
As to who might show up, he dropped a few names.
"I hope they come now if I say it, but I think Julian Edelman is going to come. I think Danny Amendola might show up."
Kimmel then asked about fan favorite Rob Gronkowski
"I did invite him. I don't know if he could make it, I actually didn't hear back, you know what Gronk, I'm putting that on you, I didn't hear back. I can't believe I just like started a beef with Gronk. I'm sorry. "
At least it wasn't Bill Belichick. Based on his press conferences, I would hate to see him give a film review.
