Is the entire cast of the box office flop Fantastic Four (Fant4stic) trying to get redemption? Miles Teller who played the role of Reed Richards recently expressed interest in returning for a sequel. Michael B. Jordan who played Johnny Storm jumped ship and has already been cast in the MCU's upcoming 2018 film Black Panther. Good thing the terrible ratings seemed to have no bearings on the success of the talented cast whatsoever.

Now, Kate Mara (star of the upcoming film Morgan) has also said she would love to return as Sue Storm for a second chance, and if anyone can pull it off, screenplay writer Simon Kinberg can. Check out her recent interview with IGN in the video below:

Hmmm...OK. She doesn't seem that excited about the prospect. Let's be real for a second, we all know that the real reason the film was such a financial and critical disaster in the first place is because 20th Century Fox rushed production in order to keep the rights to the property. We've all seen these actors shine bright in plenty of other films. And while Kinberg did discuss a sequel, Fox basically killed the property on their own.

There is a slight possibility that Marvel Studios and Fox could reach a "sharing agreement" (like Sony did with Spider-Man) allowing Marvel to lend a heavy hand in a reboot - becoming a saviour once for Marvel's First Family.

In fact, on a recent episode of Collider Heroes, Fatman on Batman producer Matt Key said this about the Marvel/Fox rumor:

"I've heard from a few of my sources, my little birds, that Fox and Marvel have… kind of talked, but not really, but like there's interest from Fox, like, 'Ooh, y'know, what they did with Sony and Spider-Man is actually pretty cool, like, maybe…' We're years away from that ever possibly happening… but I think that's what it would take… Fox joining hands with Marvel…"

Only time will tell if this will ever happen...or not. In the meantime, most fans would love to see a much better version of Fantastic Four, possibly even with Miles Teller as he won't stop talking about it.
