During the Warner Bros. panel at San Diego Comic-Con International on Saturday, Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice director Zack Snyder made a surprise appearance to kick-off the panel and talk about a little movie he is working on. Comicbook.com covered the panel yesterday, but now a high-quality video of the Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice part of the panel has been released online, which we've embedded below.

"So really just came, was shooting last night, jumped on a plane and came here this morning to give you an update, let you know how we're doing," said Snyder. "And couldn't be happier with the way things are going. It's super-amazing, just the talent, the sets, the special effects and everything is going amazingly well. And I couldn't be happier."

After teasing the audience that they would normally bring footage, but were shooting right now, Snyder unveiled some actual footage from Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice. The footage is unfortunately not part of the video, but you can read a description of the footage here.

After the footage preview, Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, and Gal Gadot joined director Zack Snyder on stage, and panel host Chris Hardwick took a selfie.

Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice is scheduled to open in movie theaters on May 6, 2016.
