ComicBook.com is pleased to announce the release of the first in a series of Database products that will ultimately compile and rank from the categories of Movies, TV, Video Games and Comics.

Our first release focuses on movies with an upcoming TV Database scheduled for later this year.

There are many great sites for movies, but our industry needs a full featured resource that is built by the people that report on the category everyday.

This first phase takes a huge step in giving all of us, a professional and well organized voice in entertainment.

The new ComicBook.com Movie Database unveils the long-awaited ComicBook.com Composite Ratings and Rankings.

ComicBook.com Composite is a proprietary algorithm that compiles ratings listed in the public domain by the major media services and user ratings from the ComicBook.com community, creating the industry's most comprehensive and unbiased movie ratings and rankings.

The release also features user ratings and rankings from you, the ComicBook.com Community.

And this is where we need your help.

This is your opportunity to put a definitive mark in determining whether Man of Steel is a better movie than Avengers Age of Ultron, or tell us just how bad Green Lantern really was.

Please tell your friends and tell your family ... we are looking to put together the definitive Comic Book Movie Resource for fans like myself and for fans like you.

Here are a few of the resources with this release:
