Game of Thrones - Two Swords

The season 4 premiere of Game of Thrones, "Two Swords," is the most watched episode of anything to air on HBO since the series finale of The Sopranos. This season's Game of Thrones premiere had 6.6 million viewers. That beats the season 3 premiere, which had 4.4 million viewers, and anything else to air on HBO in the past six years. By comparison, the series finale of The Sopranos had 11.9 million viewers. Those numbers also don't account for how many people actually watched "Two Swords" illegally, which is probably a lot since Game of Thrones is the most pirated show on television. The premiere episode was watched so much that it crashed the HBO GO app. Not a bad way to start off the season. Game of Thrones airs Sunday nights on HBO.
