Guardians of the Galaxy Recruits Star Wars, Indiana Jones Designer

Brian Muir, the veteran movie prop sculptor who worked on Darth Vader's mask and armor in Star Wars (among many other things), has reportedly been recruited to work on Guardians of the Galaxy. The likelihood, of course, is that he's working on Star-Lord's mask, which has been seen in promotional art and will apparently be coming to film more or less as it exists in the comics. Bleeding Cool, who reported the story, were apparently unable to get a comment one way or another on the mask, but it not only makes logical sense but they say that's the impression they got from the "rundaround" they were given when asking. They report, "We're told that there's something of a Star Wars vibe to the plans for Guardians, and Muir's appointment is a nice manifestation of this."
