Game of Thrones' sixth season has been a well kept secret. HBO isn't even sending out advanced copies of the early episodes to the press in hopes of keeping us all away from spoilers.

Ian McShane, however, is out there spilling some major details.

McShane's character is a mystery itself but this week, the actor shared some insight that all but gives away exactly who he is and what he's doing. "I can give you one hint: My character is an ex-warrior who's become a peacenik ... I bring back a much-loved character everybody thinks is dead," McShane told BBC Breakfast.

Later in the same day, he spilled even more.

"I have nursed a much-loved character back to life," McShane explained to BBC Radio 5. When the host pointed out that he could only be referring to the Hound or Jon Snow, he pretended he was giving away major spoilers, saying, "It's not the latter, it might be the former."

Those statements considered can only mean he is playing the Elder Brother, a healer in the world of Game of Thrones! It would make sense for him to bring back the Hound, a character who still has his head and is largely expected to return, but let's be honest - we're all hoping to see him help Jon Snow rise again.

Game of Thrones returns April 24 on HBO.
