The Man Of Steel is already breaking records. In a Sears marketing tie-in with the Man Of Steel, 566 Sears employees dressed up as Superman today at the Sears corporate headquarters in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. No, it wasn't just "wear you cape to work day," as Sears was specifically aiming to make it into the Guiness Book Of World Records. Previously, the largest gathering of people dressed like Superman took place at the Nexen Inc. headquarters in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, on September, 28 2011. 437 Nexen Inc. employees dressed as Superman as part of kicking off a United Way fundraising campaign. Sears beat the old record by an amazing 129 Supermans. The Man of Steel is scheduled to open at movie theaters in the United States on June 14, 2013.
