Scarlet Witch Is The Wild Card In Captain America: Civil War According To Elizabeth Olsen

Why haven't we seen what side Elizabeth Olsen's Scarlet Witch is on in the leaked concept art for Captain America: Civil War?

Well, apparently there's a very good reason: it's key to the story of the film.

Olsen describes her character as the "wild card" when the other members of The Avengers come to blows -- a strange position for her to be in, really, since so much of her character in Avengers: Age of Ultron centered on her hatred for Tony Stark.

"She's doing alright. She's confused, she's conflicted," the actress told MTV when asked about the status of her character while promoting I Saw The Light this week. "She's found some people she thinks she connects with, but she's doing alright. They released images of Team Cap and Team Iron Man. She wasn't there. She's always the wild card. I like being the wild card."

She went on to add that her character will see a marked change in the way she handles her powers before audiences next reconnect with her.
