Spider-Man, Zeb Wells Join Joe Madureira and Wolverine on Marvel NOW!

The Marvel NOW! project featuring Wolverine and art by comics and video game superstar Joe Madureira seems to have been confirmed as a long-gestating project by writer Zeb Wells, which also features Spider-Man and Elektra. A press release from Marvel today followed up Monday's Joe Mad!/Wolverine announcement with a look at Spider-Man and the caption "Get Wells! (soon)". Long before the official announcement came down the pike, previous comments on social media had established that the pair were working on such a book together--and the webs in the background of the Wolverine image led ComicBook.com to speculate that might be what we were seeing here. If this one doesn't confirm that speculation, it's at least got to say this came out of the same brainstorming session... Wells himself had a number of best-selling and fan-favorite Spider-Man stories not that long ago. Coupled with Madureira's history with Wolverine, it's quite a nostalgia act.
