Star Trek Into Darkness Klingons First Look

IDW Publishing has unveiled the cover for the fourth and final issues of their Star Trek Into Darkness prequel comic book, and guess what? We have Klingons. According to the IDW teaser, "Here it is, STAR TREK fans, the new KLINGONS, appearing for the very first time in STAR TREK: COUNTDOWN TO DARKNESS #4 this April!  It's ok, we're freaking out, too..." While it's long been rumored that Klingons would appear in Star Trek Into Darkness, director J.J. Abrams has never confirmed that will be the case. J.J. Abrams did reveal a teaser image during last year's MTV Movie Awards which looked like a Klingon, but Abrams never confirmed it as a Klingon. Now with this IDW image officially identified as a Klingon, it's the best confirmation yet that there will be Klingons in Star Trek Into Darkness. Star Trek Into Darkness is scheduled to be released in movie theaters on May 17, 2013.
