No matter how many times fans are burned and no matter how cynical or skeptical they get, the sight of Optimus Prime holding a sword and riding a Dinobot (we're assuming Grimlock) is enough to pump a bit of enthusiasm back into their cold, cold hearts. That's what we learned from last night, anyway, when after months of "Dear God, why another one?" talk about Transformers: Age of Extinction, our social media feeds filled up with observations like "Optimus is on a giant robot t-rex. Your argument is invalid." Paramount have officially released the still above, the first non-moving look at the Dinobots, who appear to be soewhat more organic-looking and maybe more actually transform-able than the movie versions of the Bayformers, which have always looked to me like the toys would have no reason to work. Transformers: Age of Extinction hits theaters on June 27.
