Shia Labeouf

This past week one of the largest government scandals of recent memory just broke when Guardian Journalist Glenn Greenwald released info about the wiretapping program called Prism. For one young actor this probably didn't come as a surprise. Back in 2008, while on tour promoting his film Eagle Eye with Michelle Monaghan discussed with Jay Leno how a FBI agent consultant explained to him that 1 in 5 phone calls were tapped. Shia also claimed that the agent had played for him a phone call that had LeBeouf had made 2 years before. Eagle Eye, for those who understandably don't remember, was an forgettable action film released in 2008 that led Shia and Michelle through a series of chase sequences. The twist was that they were being led by a hacker that could reach and follow them through technology wherever they went. Think Enemy of the State... just not as good and with the guy from Transformers.

Here's the trailer for Eagle Eye, if you must relive it.
