The website One Perfect Shot has recut Richard Lester's 1983 superhero film Superman III, starring Christopher Reeve as the Man of Steel, into a horror film. Some might already say it was...
After 1980's Superman II delighted audiences and critics alike everyone was eagerly-awaiting the next film in the series, but the positive vibe soon wore off once people got a gander of how awful Superman III is. It's filled with cheap sight-gags and slapstick humor. Margot Kidder's Lois Lane was demoted to a minor role for speaking out against the producers' harsh treatment of Richard Donner, the original director of the previous two Superman films. Hackman chose not to return because of how Donner was treated, and he was replaced with a Lex Luthor knockoff: Ross Webster (Robert Vaughn).
That's not even the worst of it. That honor goes to Superman becoming an lust-crazed alcoholic, who then has his good and evil personalities split into two separate bodies and brawl in a junkyard. A close second would have to be that creepy moment when Vera becomes a cyborg because of Gus' supercomputer.

Golden Globe-nominee Christopher Reeve is back once again in the ongoing adventures of the Man of Steel. This time Superman faces the awesome power of a criminally insane super-computer genius, who has been hoodwinked by a sinister tycoon seeking global dominance. Legendary comic Richard Pryor ("Stir Crazy," "Harlem Nights"), Annette O'Toole ("48 Hours," "The Kennedys of Massachusetts") and former child star Jackie Cooper co-star.
