X-Men: First Class

star Caleb Landry Jones will not return as Banshee in the upcoming sequel X-Men: Days of Future Past, the actor confirmed to Shock 'Til You Drop earlier today. He's in good company, of course; while Bryan Singer is bringing back most of his cast from X-Men as well as big chunks of the Days of Future Past cast, we've already had reports that Alan Cumming won't return as Nightcrawler, January Jones's White Queen is out, Rose Byrne's Moira MacTaggart appears to be, and none of the Hellfire Club from X-Men: First Class will be back, either. The film, loosely based on the Chris Claremont/John Byrne story of the same name, sees the X-Men travel through time and fight Sentinels. Not much else is known, except that certain characters will appear in more than one form (both James McAvoy and Sir Patrick Stewart are aboard as Professor X, for example).
