Future Space Station Crew Poses For Star Wars-Inspired Poster

NASA has unveiled the official poster for the International Space Station Expedition 45, and it features the expedition's entire crew wearing Jedi robes and wielding lightsabers.

Bearing the title International Space Station Expedition XLV: The Science Continues, the poster features the astronauts and cosmonauts that comprise the crew: Scott Kelly, Mikhail Kornienko, Kjell Lindgren, Sergei Volkov, Oleg Kononenko and Kimiya Yui.

Look carefully and you can spot a few less over Star Wars references – the space station logo at the center is shaped, perhaps coincidentally, a lot like an imperial star destroyer, and the Automated Transfer Vehicle has an X-wing design.

The expedition is scheduled to complete its mission in November.
