New Fantastic Four Image Of The Thing In Action!

Good new everyone, it's clobberin' time!

Entertainment Weekly was provided with a new image of The Thing/Ben Grimm (Jamie Bell) in Josh Trank's Fantastic Four. This is the first time we've seen the rock-like superhero in action.

They also got some new information about the film's plot.

In this version, Reed Richards (Miles Teller), Johnny Storm (Michael B. Jordan), Ben Grimm (Jamie Bell), and Sue (Mara) become "infected" during an inter-dimensional science experiment.

In the alternate trailer, Sue was seen flying around with her brother Johnny, but this EW article explains that Sue's ability to fly is actually her ability to "float." Were used to Sue Storm being able to turn invisible, project force fields, and now she'll levitate.

A contemporary re-imagining of Marvel's original and longest-running superhero team, centers on four young outsiders who teleport to an alternate and dangerous universe, which alters their physical form in shocking ways. Their lives irrevocably upended, the team must learn to harness their daunting new abilities and work together to save Earth from a former friend turned enemy.

Fantastic Four will land in theaters August 7, 2015.
