The Dark Knight is trading the Batmobile in for a saddle and heading out west for a new, Wild West Batman action figure from Play Arts Kai.

The Caped Cowboy mixes the best visual cues from Batman's classic crimefighting outfit and the rawhide aesthetic of the wild wild West. It looks like some influences of steam punk were thrown in for good measure—after all, one can never have enough straps and buckles.

Wild West Batman comes with a few accessories, including variant hands, a batarang, a grapple gun (which better fire lassos as well), and a tomahawk--but we'd rather call it a Tomabat. He clocks in at 10.5 in.

Of course, this isn't the first time we've seen a cowboy Batman action figure. The first one came from DC Direct, based off of Andy Kubert's covers for The Return of Bruce Wayne.

There's some resemblance between the two action figures for sure, but it's up to you to decide who'll wear the Sheriff's badge on your toy shelf.

The Batman Timeless Wild West Variant hits in July for $119.99—better start collecting some bounties in the meantime.
