Christmas is upon us once more. Time to bust out your ugly sweaters ironically, red and green decor, put on Die Hard on repeat, and of course, make time for Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol

There are a myriad of variations with Muppets, George C. Scott, contemporary incarnations...something for everybody. It's a classic. But there's something about A Christmas Carol that means so much more if it's read aloud.

Modern day storytelling legend Neil Gaiman read Dickens' classic for the New York Public Library last year, which was from an annotated edition by Dickens himself. If you have time, give a listen, in case you missed out.

Gaiman could make a takeout menu sound intriguing with that voice.

Awesome dude, and I hope we'll all see your Sandman film finally make it to the big screen soon.

  1. I could listen to him read the phone book. If I could find one nowadays.

  2. What's the fastest way to 5 stars on this site by the way?
