Before fame came knocking on Vin Diesel's door, the young actor -- with hair! -- sold Mattel's line of toys for Street Sharks, which were a group of crime-fighting half-man/half-sharks that had their own animated television series that ran from 1994 to 1997.

Four years before Vin Diesel hit it big with a key role in Steven Spielberg's 1998 World War II drama Saving Private Ryan, he took a gig at a 1994 toy fair selling Street Sharks toyline. The now star of the lucrative Fast & Furious franchise burst with excitement as he explained what's so great about each figure: Boomer (later named Big Slammu), Sledge (later named Jab) and Ripster, the leader of the group.

Watch Vin Diesel fintastic pitch for Street Sharks in the video below.

Fast 8 will race into theaters April 14, 2017.
