Legendary Comics Reveals Cover For Warcraft: Bonds Of Brotherhood

Legendary is bringing the world of Azeroth to the big screen later this year with the Duncan Jones directed Warcraft. Comic fans though will get some additional insight as to how things got this way.

Legendary Comics is releasing an official prequel to the film, which takes place decades before the movie begins. In the comic, called Warcraft: Bonds of Brotherhood, readers will see how three of the worlds' greatest heroes first joined forces. Vengeance will bring Llane, Lothar, and Medivh together on a mission that will make them into the champions Azeroth needs now, and will need in the future.

The cover you see above was drawn by Kevin Tong, and the book is being written by Paul Cornell, with a story by Chris Metzen. On art duties will be the team of Mat Broome, Michael O'Hare, Eddie Nunez, Roy Allan Martinez, Ale Garza, and Mike Bowden. Bonds of Brotherhood will release on June 7th, followed by Warcraft's release on June 10th.
