Princess (er, sorry, General) Leia will return to another Star Wars Celebration convention, heading to London for Celebration Europe in July. Carrie Fisher was announced Friday as the fourth official spotlight guest of the show, alongside Rogue One director Gareth Edwards, Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy, and co-star Mark Hamill.
Fisher's panels at previous Celebrations have been raucous, filled with laughter, extremely honest personal stories, and yes, I even have personal photos of her spanking James Arnold Taylor, the voice of Obi-Wan Kenobi in Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels while on stage. These are things that happen at Carrie Fisher panels.
No word on exactly what her panel presence will be, whether it's another "Date with a Princess" or if there will be some manner of Star Wars: Episode VIII panel (we have two of the stars confirmed now, after all), but no doubt fans will be lining up to salute their favorite general.
Star Wars Celebration Europe runs July 15-17, 2016 at the ExCel London Exhibition Centre.
