Happy Chewbacca Mask Lady's Reaction Has Been Turned Into A Song

It was only a matter of time before riffs on Candace Payne's Chewbacca Mom video started surfacing, but few of them will be as trippy (yet somehow catchy) as this.

In their regular Songify This video series, Youtube users Schmoyoho have taken the incredibly popular video and given it a melody and some effects to produce "Happy Chewbacca Mask." Schmoyoho is made up of the five Gregory brothers, Michael, Andrew, Sarah, and Evan, and they believe that everything is better as a song (not a bad mantra), so it makes sense that they'd try and make the already delightful Chewbacca Mom video even better. They posted the song with the caption: "Even traveling through hyperspace to win a pod-race on Tatooine could not give a human being the simple joy of wearing a Wookiee mask."

Admittedly, there are parts (during the Ha Ha Ha chorus) that are a bit creepy, but overall it's pretty addictive. The group's other recent projects have mostly been political, with Donald Trump, Bernie Sanders, and Hillary Clinton inspired ditties over the last few months.

The original video keeps gathering views, and since debuting on Facebook Live it has amassed 145,929,117 million of them. After the video hit big, Kohl's, the store she purchased the original mask from, delivered $2,500 in gift cards, 10,000 Kohl's reward points, and a large amount of Star Wars toys, including another Chewbacca mask so Payne wouldn't have to share. They shared a video of the delivery on their social media accounts, with the caption: ""Candace didn't want to share her Chewbacca mask. So we showed up to make sure she didn't have to! #AllTheGoodStuff,"
